2:53.0 | The truth is that Venezuela, when I was a kid, was a much different country than what it is today. It's been declining my whole life. That's why I decided to leave. I was blessed with the opportunity to come to America. |
3:06.0 | I've dedicated my life to stopping what happened in Venezuela from ever happening again. |
3:11.0 | I'm doing a PhD in economics at Columbia University. I lived in Indiana before in Kentucky. I'm in New York City, unfortunately. But we're having a good time and I'm very thankful. |

3:35.0 | Will you just briefly explain why the experience of Venezuela is so relevant to America today and why the experience of Russia and the Soviet Union or Cuba isn't? |
3:51.0 | Well, let's, I'm not dismissing the experience of other countries, all countries. You know, we can learn many things from it. I do think that the experience of Venezuela particularly is relevant for us today because Venezuela is the most recent country to become a socialistic dictatorship. |
