Okay, Kim here wants to be on the voice disguiser, and she's having a little tension with the bride, and I believe she's a bridesmaid. Hey, Kim. Hello? Hi. Hey. Are you there? So, yes, I'm here. Okay. So you've got to give us a little history here, like how well do you know the bride, When did she ask you to be a bridesmaid?

Okay. We have been co-workers for about three years. Didn't really start hanging out,

maybe until about two years ago. When she was dating the guy, she was like, I want you to be

my wedding, and I was close to her family and everything. And he proposed and she asked me, of course, I said yes immediately.

And that was about two months ago.

And I haven't really heard from her in six weeks or so except for in passing in the office.

I was like, someone else told me she set the date.

Someone else told me she found the location.

You know, we were supposed to go to a dress fitting,

and then she canceled at the last minute, so she found a new dress for the bridesmaids for us.

So other than that, that's all I know about the wedding, and we're not that close socially.

We don't really hang out outside of work anymore.

I thought to all my other, like, groups of friends, and they are telling me, you know, maybe you should just back out, you know? So I don't know. I don't want to offend her. And like I said, I've been close to her family. I don't want to upset them. But it doesn't really seem right to me anymore if we're not even friends. I mean, a bride's made as a big step.

So what are your interactions like with her at the office now? Are they awkward?

Um, a little bit because I want to bring it up, but I know that in the office is not the best

location. Um, so after we go to lunch one day, she said yes. And then she was like, I'm too busy, I can't go.

So, yeah, and we don't really interact.

Our departments don't work together that often.

So it's a rare interaction, but it is, like, just business.

Were you a little bit thrown back when she asked you to be a bridesmaid to begin with,

because you said you guys weren't that close?
