Even Van Dyke kind of bodying Wayne Rooney on national television, which was absolutely fantastic to see. In fact, you know what, let's start with that one then. And if you lose four games in a row as a Liverpool player, then there's fair criticism that's absolutely normal. But I think it's over the top sometimes as well. And we live in a world where there's so many platforms and so many people can say stuff and it gets picked up and made bigger than what it is. And that was in response, I think, the first part of them, when we only kind of criticise version of Van Dyck for maybe signing his new contract and then maybe taking his foot off to gas a little bit so Van Dyke was quite happy to confront Wayne it looked like on that one yeah you need to see the video and see the glance that Virgil gives to Wayne when he mentions those over-the-top criticisms Rudy for what to have later on said you know I think what I said was fair because you don't expect Liverpool to lose four games in a row but then he also he said rather I think the response has been great from Virgil and the team and obviously since that game obviously they've beaten Arsenal or now beating Real Madrid but yeah Virgil van Zay captain on the front foot as always he's been taking down attackers for years and he's just talking down another one in wayn Rooney and nice to see that the manager sorry

the captain was standing off for his players as well he said he isn't he isn't personally affected

but he's obviously heard it nice to see that he's uh he's on the front foot fighting back

right then let's move into the game itself.

Real Madrid, only had two four or two worth.

Only really one of them troubled.

Mamadashvili as well made a good say from Bellingham.

But yeah, Liverpool, nine shots on target.

Four big chances created an XG of 2.58 compared to Realmwood did 0.45

according to Opta basically an absolute dominant display

from Liverpool and 1-0 only flattered Realmmer's because the goalkeeper

once again was absolutely fantastic.
