well. This was again that I think none of us were so concerned about coming out of that

loss to Sweden, thinking that maybe New Zealand would be a bit more cautious. The US would

have a point to prove. And here we are. Jordan, what were your thoughts when you saw that

opening lineup, which did have some changes, did have some surprise inclusions, I would

say?

I think with the, I think the US probably anticipated New Zealand to not have such a high pressing

attack. So when you're in a block, you would want more players who are able to break down

that low block. So I think brain starting Carly Lloyd and giving her that chance, starting

in Megan Rapinoe, who can get the end line and pull some players out and be a little bit

more creative. I think some of those changes and then Julia, starting was, was key in this

one as we'll go through it. I think the one surprise and maybe just to manage minutes

was Becky Sauerbren not getting the start. That's not something that we normally see. And

I know Taylor, you and I talked about her being such a key player for this team. But we,

also this tournament happens fast and it's important to manage minutes for players.
