Summary

How do you change markets? Probably a question you never thought someone would ask. Why would you go and change markets in your business?! If you are a business owner you want to claim a market or a space. You want to become the GO TO person in your industry.

However, there comes a time where it is time to not necessarily change markets BUT get focused and narrow in on who you want to sell to. In this episode of Unstoppable Success Radio I am going over how you can grow your income while still making this transition from a broad audience to a niche audience because that is the next step.

0:25.0

Hey everybody, welcome back. In today's episode, we're talking about a topic that has come up quite a bit recently,

0:30.0

which is how to maintain and grow your income while transitioning audiences.

0:36.0

Now I wanted to record an episode on this today because this is a very common issue that comes up for entrepreneurs as they begin to up level and are

working to really claim ownership and authority in their market. Many times what happens is you

0:56.0

recognize that as a novice business owner you probably went far too general, far too in the middle targeting the masses with what

1:07.8

you're doing and because of that you maybe were not not niche in enough to take a true position of authority in that

1:17.2

market and that then mispositioned you you know and and really put you in a position that you couldn't charge what you wanted to for the services that you're providing because they just weren't specific enough and custom enough that people were willing to make that high-level

1:35.9

investment for them.

1:37.8

And so I see this quite a lot obviously in the coaching space, it really is relevant and applicable to any space that you're in.

1:48.3

So what I want everybody thinking about is, you know, how can you facilitate a smooth transition to beginning to target, connect with, speak, and

2:00.1

engage your new audience without seeing a huge fall-off in your income.

2:05.4

Now there's lots of different ways that you can do this and there's no right or wrong.

2:09.4

And the other thing is is if you run a mature business and you're okay with allowing the

2:17.2

income to go for a little bit while you make a transition, that's fantastic.

2:23.8

And if you're running a multi-million dollar business already

2:27.0

and you've decided that you want to transition

2:30.7

your focus or change your niche and you're okay with there being some
