My name is Taylor Rockwell, and we are recording just after the United States has defeated Mexico in the Concaf Nation's League final, a dosacero scoreline.

Now, if we could only tell, I don't know, 10,000 of our closest friends, I think this could really catch on. We've got till 2026. I think we've got time to make a good Tyler Adams to you, the official greeting of USM&T supporters.

I'm fine with that. Joe, Joe, Joe, what a difference a couple of days makes. After the Jamaica win that we were not impressed by is the way to put it. This feels quite the opposite. I thought this was a pretty impressive performance, not a comprehensive performance, but a very good performance in the United States, two incredible goals. Tyler Adams, howitzer from 36 yards out, Giorana's sort of half volley through traffic, two incredible

goals, a very good performance from the U.S. I'm pretty happy, Joe. I'm pretty happy. Well,

Taylor, I'm choosing to believe that those two

players in particular just scored for us. So Taylor Rockwell is maybe the largest Tyler Adams fan

on the planet. And that is a tough contest. But Taylor, you might just edge it. And I am, at least

certainly among the regular TSS foursome, the Giorana champion. So I think there is some

personal connection here. This is a fascinating stage, Taylor, I think, of the U.S.-Mexico rivalry. Because we were talking before we came on, we both felt even after the Jamaica game, that was not especially great from the U.S. On the re-watch and the re-rewatch, I think it got a bit better each time, which is often the way it goes, especially when you're down 1-0.

If you're the United States and that changes some of the psychological elements of watching a game,

it just feels different.

But coming off of that, even with some things that certainly went wrong in that game against Jamaica,

you and I both still felt like the U.S. were favored and had a really, really good chance and expected the United States men's national team to take care of business in Dallas, Texas against Mexico. And that is exactly what they did. They were the better team in this game. The U.S. men's national team, I'm just reading straight from a Paul Carr tweet.
