My name is Joel Aurey and today I'm joined by a man who has the best mustache in American

soccer. It's mls soccer.com's Tom Bogart. Tom, thanks for coming on the show. How are

you? And maybe more importantly, how is the mustache?

Thanks for having me, Joe, but the quick correction right off the bat here to embrace debate

and disagreements. I always have to give credit to the patient saint of mls mustache is that

is Sasha question who is still active and doing it at an elite level that I'll never

read. I'll take number two there.

Okay, I'll give you some props there for deflecting that compliment to Sasha because he's

mustache is solid Tom. Man, though, you are you're killing it. When did you start growing

that and are you tired of it being your brand? Because I feel kind of bad leading the show

with that fact, but it's just so good.

So that's the thing like I had done it a few times in college or whatever when like because

I can't grow like a full beard or anything. And so like no members, I would just joking

around you mustache or whatever. Do it as a bit. And then like when at some point over

the last couple of years, I was like, Oh, no, like this kind of looks normal. I don't know

this bit anymore. And then it slowly became all right. I would do it like in the off season.

And then I do it for longer during the season. And now it's like the the rare times that

is out of my face because it's just part of the brand is part of me now. You got embrace

it.
