Our guest now is 20 year old U.S. men's national team forward. Daryl Dique, who has been

lighting it up in the championship with Barnsley on loan from Orlando City, with seven goals

in his first 13 games in England. Daryl, congratulations on everything you're doing, and thanks

for coming on the show. Yeah, thank you. Thank you so much. I'm excited to be here.

Fantastic. It seems kind of crazy. Just barely over a year ago, you are at the University

of Virginia playing soccer. Then you had an impressive rookie season with Orlando

last year, and now you're one of the most talked about goal scorers in English soccer.

For a team that could get promoted to the Premier League, what goes through your mind when

you think of all the things that have happened for you in such a short time?

I think I sometimes take a step back because things have moved so quickly for me. The year

and a half ago, as you said, I was playing college soccer, and I had no idea if I was

staying in college or becoming a professional. Even after I became a professional, I was

with Orlando for a year, and then now I'm on loan overseas. Everything is just moving

so fast. I got my first national team captain. Everything is just moving so fast. I'm obviously

super excited, super happy about everything that's happening. It's kind of the dream

per se. It's unfolding right before my eyes and a short period of time. I enjoyed it
