Christopher, where did you get the money from to start buying rental properties?

Essentially, what I was tapping into was the equity that I gained in my primary residence,

and then using that as capital to fund the down

payments on investments in homes. And part of that had to do with working with the people that I

knew and hiring the people that I needed to get me along the way so that I was furthering my

ability to invest in homes that were gaining appreciation. It had good cash flow

and had a great trajectory for projections in the next 20 years. So all of that to say,

it was improving all of my investments along the way. It can be hard to save money for down payments,

but if you've got equity in the property that you live in, it could be a good

idea to tap into that to help fund your down payments.

And that's what Christopher did.

The real magic comes in that the properties that he bought ended up appreciating, and he was
