about which is always good yeah definitely uh definitely some interesting basketball for sure. Not the best basketball, but getting some stuff done for USC fighting hard. And those, we'll talk about that in just a second. But for you the first time, this was the USC Triple Double podcast, part of the Peristyle podcast family shows. The USC Triple Double is a podcast focused on the Trojan men and women of Troy basketball programs. Each week during the season, we'll be breaking down all the latest action. For both teams, we'll be looking ahead to the upcoming matchups. We also try to have some guests on the show. This week, we're excited to have USC freshman sensation Elijah Arena set to join us a little bit later. That should definitely be a fun conversation. first, let's jump into our recap the last week with our triple double segment where we look at everything in our unique way with three positives, two negatives, usually. Sometimes we mix it up. But men coming off two games where they play Penn State, you know, have to go to Penn State, really tough road trip there, just getting there, all those type of things. They find a way to win. On Super Bowl Sunday, a lot of things could be going against them. They get a game winning shot from Elijah Arenas. They win 77.75 in that one, big win, just to avoid the bad loss, most important there. But then they go to Ohio State an opportunity to get a quad one win, and unfortunately, they cannot come through with the victory there. They lose 89 to 82. On the women's side, they went to Illinois and were able to get a win. Big win there for them, 762. And then they come home and don't play quite as well, but they beat Indiana 79, 73. So setting themselves up nicely. I think that's five in a row they've won where do you

half empty. They did have a chance against Ohio State and it didn't go their way. But if they had lost

2:58.7

that Penn State game, it wouldn't have been a certain death for their NCAA tournament hopes,

3:04.5

but it would have been very, very close to getting to that point.
