Along with my co-host, Mr. Triple Double himself. Connor, how are we doing today? Doing well. We're in the throws of football season, but let's talk some hoops. Still got to talk some hoops, of course. The throws, I love it. There was a lot of throws on Saturday, some that did not go USC's way, including a couple of big, another big

explosive plays for the opposition. But we'll see if things get cleaned up. They've got a buy week. But because there's a by week, that means we get to talk a little bit more hoops. We've got a little bit of time on our hands. So we're excited to be able to do a triple double podcast and have a special guest a little bit later. thanks to HOV, House of Victory, helping us out getting an interview.

We'll have Jayden Brownnell coming on. But, you know, for any first-time listeners, the USC triple-double podcast is part of the Pairs style podcast being on the show. The USC triple-double is a podcast focused on the Trojan men and women of Troy basketball programs. You know, each week during the season, we'll be breaking down all the latest action for both teams. We'll look forward to the upcoming matchups. But since we're out of the season, we're still some news and stuff to talk about. Connor got a chance to check out some practice. We'll talk about that a little bit. We also have really big news on the women's side as Juju Watkins announces that she will not play

this season. She's going to take the red shirt, focus on the future. What does that mean for the

women and Troy? We'll talk about that all after the break. But let's jump right in with our special

guest today. We welcome in Jane and Brownell, a transfer from Sanford, started his career at UIC from Utah, so it was

bounced around the country a little bit, lands at USC, 6'10 shooter.

I'm doing great.

How are you guys?

Hanging in there, you know, enjoying the buy week for football the, the, the bye week for football. So we get to talk a little basketball. So we're excited here to have you on. We appreciate House of Victory for putting this together, helping us get you on here. But tell me about to, you guys are already in preseason. A lot of people talk about football right now. But you guys are in preseason, getting ready for your season. how has the preseason practices been going so far? They've been great.

You know, we're talking about football right now, but you guys are in preseason, getting ready for your season. How has the preseason practices been going so far? They've been great. You know,

we're just getting in all our sets, getting in everything. We've been going through a lot of stuff in the summer, getting in all the sets, all the little details, just kind of finding

everything down into the perfect piece. So it's been good.

You know, we've been playing hard and practice has been long, but it's exactly what we need to do.

What do you envision your role being this year, Jane? Yeah, you know, I'm not 100% sure yet.

I know personally, I can just coming in and, you in and being at my size, being able to

either affect shots on defense or just make sure I'm in the right spots defensively.
