big battle which is the one for Guam which is a fascinating battle also because it had been American territory before the war.

Yeah, so the Japanese had grabbed Guam in 1941, the tiny US garrison there.

But there's an airfield, isn't there?

That's an airfield.

And a naval base, too, a really nice naval anchorage,

which of course, I guess is what it attracted the Spanish way back when.

You know, and obviously the Americans get it from the Spanish as a result of that war in
