We're going to head back to the early

2000s. DOS Acero. Jeff, did you make a plan to stay up or wake up for the kickoff airing live

from South Korea? Wake up. I didn't trust myself, but it was a plan because I was in Northern Virginia at the time. I had just

graduated from college, and I, so I stayed with my sister who is living in Alexandria, Virginia.

And that part of Virginia, if people know it, such a heavy Mexican and Central American population

around there, that if you walk around, and this has happened

me before, if you walk around, you'll know who won, just by the looks on people's faces.

I remember one time, not this game, but a different USA-Mexico game in the 2000s.

I taped it.

I had a comedy show that night, and I drove home from the comedy show and just seeing

people on the street, often wearing their Mexico jerseys looking bummed. I knew what the outcome was.

So I was going to get, I taped it and woke up. But I had a play. I just, I wasn't going to go outside,

see anybody do anything before I watched the game.

That was going to be the very first thing I did that day.
