Jill, I'm reading here that World Kindness Day actually launched about 25 plus years ago

to promote the importance of being kind and compassionate to everyone around you.

So keep that in mind as you get your day rolling here.

And every day should really be World Kindness Day, right?

365 days a year. Be kind. Be compassionate. But if you can't make the 365 thing work,

let's start with one. Be kind, rewind. A throwback reference. For those of you who are not

familiar, it was blockbuster's expression reminding

you to rewind your VHS tapes. All right, Mosch, one other thing we want to mention, hopefully

everyone at least in the northern part of the United States got a chance to see the northern

lights either last night or perhaps the night before. So normally we do not see the northern lights this far south,

but there were extremely strong geomagnetic storms,

which happened when charged particles from the sun's atmosphere,

interact with the Earth's magnetic field.

So the result of that, besides perhaps messing with GPS and the power grid, is a sky that is filled with vibrant hues of green and pink.

Yeah, apparently they referred to this, the British Geological Survey, as a cannibal storm, which sounds scary when I read about it, but apparently Cannibal Storm is one that disrupts some communications, some GPS satellite

accuracy.

So if you were navigating and GPS wasn't cooperating, you can blame those geomagnetic storms as

well.

But there is the beautiful side to them, which is the Aurora Borealis.
