I'm John Batchel with my colleague, Professor Avanellis of the U.S. Army War College,

Argentina. This isn't about coup or removal or ousted from office. This is about the humble

peso. The news this morning technical is that it's broadened the ban for the dollar.

There's a big election in 10 days on a Sunday that is said to be determinative of where

Argentina goes next in its recovery from years of abuse by the Parenice Coalition.

But the Pernese Coalition is said to have momentum going into the legislation.

Professor, there's a lot of technical jargon here, but basically the Trump administration,

through the person of Secretary of Bisset, have backed up the Argentine administration.

Malay has a very good relationship with President Trump.

Is it enough or is there still at risk that the peso will fall apart?

It's interesting question, John.

Certainly there's been a strong signaling by both Secretary Bessent as well as President

Trump himself.
