Four members of an American far-right group have been found guilty of seditious conspiracy

in connection with the attack on the US Capitol two years ago.

Under a rarely used civil war era law, four members of a far-right militia group have been

convicted for their part in plotting to stop the certification of President Biden's election

victory in 2021.

Roberto Menuta, Joseph Hackett, David Morchel, and Edward Vallejo, who were all members of

the Oath Keepers Group, were found guilty of seditious conspiracy for participating in

the January 6 riot, which carries up to 20 years in prison.

They were all supporters of Donald Trump.

Our Washington correspondent, Gary O'Donohue, told us more about the Oath Keepers and what

they're convicted of.
