After a huge foreign aid bill was recently approved in Washington,

the United States has announced details of where six6 billion of military aid on Ukraine will be spent.

Despite pressure from Kyi, if the package doesn't include new Patriot launchers.

At the Pentagon, the US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin said rather than focusing too much on that,

the goal should be to assist Ukraine in developing an effective missile defense system.

I would caution us all in terms of making Patriot the silver bullet. I would say

that it's gonna it's gonna be the integrated air and missile defense as we said

so many times before that really turns hard to get.

And so there are other capabilities that they need that we really pushed hard to get.

And we may be able to get to the Ukrainians a bit faster.
