I'm your host for today, Taylor Rockwell. Daryl is not

with me. He is in Richmond. He's talking to Joe Lowry. I'm letting them talk MLS. I'm instead talking to Graham Ruthven about La Liga. Graham's been on the show several times in the past. We always love having him on because he brings a lot of knowledge to everything in La Liga, to a little bit Champions League as well. He knows a lot about the Champions League, but we only talk about it a little bit.

we do go Champions League at the very end, as well as maybe relegation battles in La Liga. But we also talk Copa del Rey. This is recorded after both Barcelona and Real Madrid were eliminated late last week. So sort of what that means for their season as a whole, what their current states are, but then the kind of situations with Atletical Madrid, with Athletic Bilbao,

with Rao Saucididad, with Hattafe,

many other teams get mentions, get conversations in there. It is a very enjoyable podcast.

If I do say so myself, I'm a little bit biased, but I hope you'll agree. And I will leave it to you, as I say. That's no problem, Taylor. It's always fun to be on. I say yet another appearance as though it's like a thing that always happens. When we have you on, it tends to be to talk La Liga, to talk a little Champions League. but usually La Liga when some sort of dramatic results happen and the reason why I got in touch with you, number one, you're good at what you do, obviously. Number two, the Scottish accent, always nice. But number three was the Copa del Rey upsets last week for both Rao Madrid and Barcelona, which is kind of where I want to start. Were those as big of upsets as they seemed to me

on paper, or is this a situation in which Barcelona and Madrid maybe not prioritizing Copa del Rey
