So we've got a graphic for Ted Turner at the start of this week's episode of WW Smackdown,

which I thought was very, well, apt for lack of a better word. It's much like AEW did on Dynamite this week as well without Ted Turner, who the flub knows where he would be. When it comes to professional wrestling, he put a lot of money in a lot of his time, a lot of his business, into pro wrestling, even though in terms of his own life, it was barely a blip because that man had one hell of a ride.

So I just thought it was barely a blip,

because that man had one hell of a ride. So, I just thought it was the right and the nice thing to do, and of course, thoughts with his friends and family. Also, like my friends, I've worked two ups and downs for WW Smackdown. And listen, I think Smackdown's turned the corner over the last couple of weeks, because somebody has gone, listen, serious wrestling is totally fine,

but I hear the goofy wrestling is for life, so let's jump into it. Although amazingly, because we have gone the goofy wrestling for life direction, I actually have some criticisms that we are going

to get into, but what are you going to do? It is technically my job. Let's up those doubts.

Jacob II then made his way to the ring and this was going to be

absolutely ridiculous given what was going to happen later because Jacob and two goes to raw,

Jacobford 2 turns up on Smackdown and then you have people signing exclusive brand deals.

Why would you even do it? Apparently you can do just do whatever you want. He carried on his

whole story about how Roman Range has always been a privileged one and nobody cared about Jacob for two. He even said something along the lines that he was born with doubt, and I thought he must have been playing persona five. Anyway, that's why he has to win this world championship. Come back alash, and out came Jimmy and Jay Uso. And they essentially said the same things they have been saying for the last couple of weeks. Jimbo's all like, listen, in a part me wants you to succeed. And Jay was like, you're going to die, man, and Robert Rance is going to kill you. And then you have to acknowledge him. I was like, listen, in terms of saying acknowledge me or knowledge you to somebody and being stabbed in the face, which apparently also the options, I'm quite happy to tell someone I acknowledge them. Jacob snapped back that it is not going to happen because he has to do this for his family. We're apparently going to be at ringside.

I was like, bro, they probably just want to stay at home and play Mario Kart. But I suppose the big line was at the end of this when Jacob Atu said to the Usos, if you get involved tomorrow night, I'm going to burn the family tree down, which doesn't really make any sense.

Was it a picture on the wall that I think the rock showed before WrestleMania 40? I think will be okay. For some reason, I still think these guys are in it together, but that is the case, Jacob Fert two needs to win the world title. And if I was going to make a prediction, I don't think that Roman Raines is losing that belt. Jake was pretty confident here, though he even said he's going to put it all on the line, so Roman reigns better do it too.

So at least WW has made this super intriguing and have made it super interesting. I'm looking forward to the match. But I sound the down low. This story hasn't really hooked me in as much as I was hoping. I don't even know why. Like I do want to see it. it's probably the probably the right to do it at Backlash. But I kind of watched the segment. My big takeaway was, I feel like I've been watching this for the last few weeks. It's not really evolved. But then the other part of me goes, that's probably what's going to happen at Backlash. Again, even Roy's Keyes has been reeled into this now. So you just have to imagine that something big is going to happen. So I'm going to give it an up, but I will say that I haven't lost interest in it. That's not fair. I am interested. It just never hit the height that I wanted it to. Again, this is the big go-home promo. And I just like, yeah, cool. Okay, I mean, I will tune in. So you did your job, but I'm happy to just sit there and see what goes down.

Dinkai Otis then told us that Gunther's actions last week were totally unacceptable, and yet he was still going to sign Gunther to Smackdown. And again, I'm going to get into this later. When Ricky Stark walked in, he was like, oh man, I can't believe I've gone from Q1 to Q4, or QB won the Q4, whatever the flood they talk about,

because he was taking on Cody Rhodes,

and now he's taken on Matt Cardona.

Jay over two and Royce Keys then had their big weekly loving, and again, this has to be going somewhere given that Royce Keys did chat to Jimmy and Jay later too when Solo walked him and he said, Hello Roy's Gees, I would love you to be a part of my

MFTs. I was like, listen, dude, Roy's Keys is never going to join your group because your group all went and got fired, which is terrible, but in terms of wanting to sign on, well, it ain't a great advert, is it? When it was Tiffany Strand versus Keanu James, and I am just going to give this US title situation are down.

And this match just came out of the blue.
