| 0:00.0 | Seller nights main event, November, 2025, whatever we call it, is officially in the books. |
| 0:05.6 | And if you were under any illusions that Drew McIntyre was going to win the WW title, |
| 0:09.8 | the first match was Cody Rose versus Drew. |
| 0:12.0 | I was like, ha ha, ha, there is no way. |
| 0:14.4 | The biggest prize in WWE is going to change hands when you are match one on S&M-E--V-25, which sounds like some kind of disease your doctor would tell you, be like, nah. Oh, so hello, my friends, one of ups and downs for seven nights' main event. My name is Simon Mell. I am the board A-Hole, and I have the finger of power, but I like something we say up, but I don't like something I say down. you then ignore the downs and tell me I only give up to shows. |
| 0:39.1 | It's a very strange predicament that's been going on for almost 10 years. don't like something I say down, you then ignore the downs and tell me I only give up to shows. |
| 0:39.1 | It's a very strange predicament that's been going on for almost 10 years now. Lock yourself |
| 0:43.0 | in. Remember to tell me how wrong I am in the comments. Let's review Salernight's main event. |
| 0:50.1 | The first thing Drew McIntyre did is he told Lillian Garcia, oh hi, maybe you should announce me as the real comptroller, excuse me, the real American dream. I was like, we probably should have let into that story more rather than just bringing it up on Smackdown that happened 24 hours before this. But what I really did like is that you did have the stipulation that Drew could win the title by DQ or he could win it by countout. So how did he spend all of his time trying to get Cody Rhodes counted out or trying to get him disqualified? Because Drew McIntyre is a smart Scottish person. Drew was even trying to use the referee as sort of a weapon at one point. So I'm not entirely sure how that would have worked. And the best near four is when, man, Cody Rhodes went flying through Alan the announce table and he got back in the ring at like 9.9.99. I just called that a near fall. That's not a near fall at all. But I did think to myself, if you were going to do it, you would do it that way. But once again, I guess the real shame here, the jeopardy wasn't there. I never totally thought that Drew McIntyre was going to win. It did make me kind of a sad panda because what the flub do you do with the Drew now? But also, I've told this before, I love Cody Rhodes, having a nice person as a beloved baby face where you really get it in modern wrestling, so I'm happy to run it into the ground. I also really enjoyed the fact that when Drew McIntyre realized his plan wasn't working, ah, he just bit Cody like he was four years old. And yes, eventually the referee got squished in the corner, so Drew went, ha ha, I'm gonna get the WWE title belt, and this is when the controversy sprung up from the ground like a snake. Now before that there was this weird spot where Cody went for a Cody cutter, but I think the referee got in the way because he kind of hit in the turf buckle, then he just fell down like, oh, my poor knee, and then seconds after this, he did hit a super Cody cutter. I think it was just one of those things where everything did fall down when they they got back to it. And that is going to be one of the messages I do send out during today's ups and downs. Wrestlers are allowed to make mistakes. And it doesn't all of a sudden make them the worst wrestler ever. In fact, sometimes the only person that should come out and tell us if they're the worst wrestler ever is the wrestler they've just wrestled. Because who's going to know more than then? Now, going back to that championship, Drew did try to hit Cody, |
| 2:51.9 | but Cody got out the way before they smashed into each other. |
| 2:54.6 | And actually, Drew McIntyre hit a version of Claymore, but he was only able to get a one-two-oo and actually fair play to the commentator because they were like, he wasn't able to do his run-up this time. and if he was able to do that, that could have been the end, |
| 3:06.4 | which essentially meant it sucks to be you, Drew. |
| 3:08.8 | You tried and failed. |
| 3:09.8 | We then kind of tied it into what we did with Kevin Owens a few months ago on Saturday's main event, or I suppose almost a year ago. But I want to wait and see with this, because I think it may actually be something Drew McIntyre leans into. But as the championship was now on the floor, Cody Rhodes did a DDT. and can you believe it by accident, but maybe on purpose, we do not know. Drew McIntyre's head went into that thing. Cody looked around. The referee wasn't back up. He hit the crossroads and he got the one, two, three. Now, I find myself in a very difficult predicament because I am going to give that down, but it's only because of what's |
| 3:41.0 | happened in 2025. Every other time someone has been beaten by the crossroads, let me check my |
| 3:45.8 | notes. The crossroads have been hitting 42,691 times, so when he does win with one, |
| 3:51.5 | it doesn't work anymore. So we need to fix this issue, and you can tie that into the main |
| 3:55.5 | event as well. We'll talk about that later, but in 2006, finishers need to become finishes again. And yes, I get it. This was a good way to start that process. And also on Smacker Down, Drew Mackin to be like, Cody, you use the championship. I can't believe it. And he will make a good point, which yes, does lean into his character of, I may be a dickhead, but I always tell the truth. And I must have been intrigued to see what's next, though, and I actually think WWB is going to lean on the fact that Survivor series, we do have war games, because you can have Drew and Cody on opposite teams, which means they are still feuding, but the belt ain't going to be up for grabs. And after that, well, unless we are finally going to big Randy on back to TV |
| 4:31.2 | and term him heel, I do not know. But in terms of an opener, and what is kind of a PLE, but not |
| 4:37.6 | really, that right. So it must be true. I am giving it up. Ultimately, I had a good time. |
| 4:44.5 | When WWE made a major call and it was 100% the right one, because of course Jay Cargill turned heel a couple of weeks ago, she ruined Tiffany Stratton's leg, so Tiffany Stratton came into her World Championship match with a gammy wound or something like that, and Jay felt her herself, you know what, I should take advantage of that, so she totally murked her. But even when Stratt was able to dodge and get to the top rope, |
| 5:06.2 | Cargill was like, nope, and essentially threw her face into the ring apron, which is the hardest part of the ring. And that was the entirety story of this match. I don't think Stratton got any kind of real offense in. There was no Tiffy time. it was just Jay going, yeah, look at that bicep, I'm jacked. |
