So I'm going to start this week's episode of Ups and Downs off with the rant, which I'm sure you're very excited about. But of course, AEW Dynamite last night came from the ECW arena, and I thought this was the coolest, most badass thing I have seen in ages. But some people, usually the trolls, are all like, oh my gosh, AW can't even go in a thousand seats anymore, going back to all these old things. Why the hell are you so against nostalgia? Why a hell you saw against nerd culture, man?

Imagine any kind of big promotion looking to the past being, you know what'd be fun, which is what's all about, do you know what would be entertaining? We can go to where ECW used to run their shows and a bunch of crazy friends will come down and they'll shout very rude things because that's what we used to do back in the late 90s. Of course it's awesome when we go to these big stadiums. You have thousands of thousands of people cheering for sports entertainment. But we need both sides of the coin. Otherwise, what is the point? It's why it's awesome having WWB. It's awesome having AEW. You can pick and choose the wrestling you do want. and if you just want it to be one way, well, believe you me, we had that for 20 years. And after a while, you just wanted to punch yourself in the face. Go back to 2019. Do you remember what happened in 2019, team? I would give you two words, and I will give you four words. One, dog food and two, hell in a cell. So I want more of this.

I want more because I do not have to worry about the finances of AEW or WWE. I just want

wrestling to make me feel warm and fuzzy in my tum-tum and being in the ECW arena with what is

essentially the number two wrestling promotion in the world that tickles my tongue and it warms up my

tootsy toes and there's other strange words that I shouldn't have said. So I am giving it and up, and now you can yell at me in the comments. When we do that anyway, the other day, somebody watched me wrestling and said, he looks like a fat guy that lifts weights. So this is what we're doing. Let's up those doubts. It's still over the start of the show was also telling us that Will Osprey is in bad shape, to tie into the story at Forbidden Door, but of course he is about to have neck surgery, so let's just send all the love to William, and I really hope he's able to recover and get back in the ring. Those goobers FTR then interrupted because they were in a bad mood. And this was because Dax Howard had something to say, and that's because at the pay-per-view, even though he was pinned, he wasn't a legal man. I was like, is that true? It was never actually made clear here. When he turned to Paul Turner, the referee happened to be in the ring, and he said, you listen to me, buddy, you better reverse the decision. decision and in true wrestling referee fashion, he said, I'm not going to do that, because my decision is final. So once again, can somebody go back and watch that and let me know if that did happen, or if FTR of just being a couple of jacks? Of course, the fans then started chanting bald at Dak, so I started to cry in my chair. Why are you got to do this, man? And You do understand that when you chant this, you affect every single bald person on the planet. And also, I would look out the window today and be a little bit careful because Mother Nature waits for no human, so you could be next. Then what are you going to do? You're going to come knock on my door and say, Simon, can I join the Bull Brotherhood? I'm going to let you win because I'm a nice guy, but I am not going to give you a free cookie. Stokely Hathaway then joined in and told him to stop listening to Internet Wrestling fans, which once again I took offence to, I was like, Stokely, I'm an Internet wrestling fan, and I just agreed with you. read with you. They of course are then going to beat up the referee when Adam Copeland and Christian Cage came out.

And Christian is already influencing in Copeland in Copeland in a bad way because while Adam came out to his music on this day, it was basically a distraction because Christian, he stuck up behind Stokely Hathaway and he took him out with a kill switch. And everybody started to fight and everybody started to brawl because that's just what we do. Also, from point on I'm always going to use Copeland Christian as my piece of evidence or sometimes you should rush things in wrestling because they are so damn good together. Like Christian got a microphone and said listen, we dealt with my problem, which was the patriarchy, but now we have to deal with Adam Copeland's problem, which is you, FTR, and if you can believe it, I went

and did some research, and I know you both have fathers. This was when Adam Copeland

melted down, he stole the microphone and said, this is not what we're doing. We chat about

this, and when this crazy audience started to boo him, he was like, all right, you're a bunch

of sickos, when he passed the microphone back to Christian, who of course said, that bitch is dead. I laughed at this. I laughed at somebody being deceased. That makes me a bad person. That I blame Adam Copeland and Christian Cage. They're too entertaining. This match also got made to All Out, which I'm actually very excited about, because I'm going to that pay-per-view, so do please come say hello if you are there. And I actually think it's way better not having the tag team tires involved, because it just gives you more freedom to play around with. But yes, Christian Cage and Admiral Copeland are brilliant. FTR are obviously brilliant. Stokely Hathaway is brilliant. So I am giving in and up, and I ponder on this one. I actually think it's some of my favourite stuff going right now, even though it did happen in fast forward, which just goes to show, sometimes you've just got to do something and see what happens on the screen. I don't know why I was doing jazz hands while the flabbed us. Darbyan then popped in with a video and said sorry to all the people who were upset that
