What's up you guys? It is Kelly. It is Wednesday, which is typically a new

Velvet Edge podcast, but we are going to be coming to you this week on Friday. I just

wanted to pop in because last week was my first podcast back after my pause.

I think I was gone for, I don't know, two months.

It was a lovely time.

I'm going to tell you guys all about it on Friday

and just the things that I've learned.

I think it was a very interesting experience

on many, many levels, announcing publicly

that you are going to take a pause from work

kind of shakes people up.

Not gonna lie.

I got a lot of text messages of like,

wait, are you okay?

And honestly, it was probably the best and bravest thing

I've ever done in my life.

So it's interesting to see people's reactions when we do

something different and uncomfortable and it was super uncomfortable for me but

much much needed and it served me well. So I did get a lot of messages from you guys while I was gone and I just wanted to say also thank you so much for that.

That meant more to me than you know. It is always obviously a really nice thing to know that you're missed but especially in a time when you're just

going through all the motions so fast and maybe not taking the time to even realize what

you're doing or if there is any impact that you're making it feels really nice to get the feedback that you are in fact helping people
