0:09.4	Thank you so much. So I'm pleased to have Kelly here to give us a bit of an update on
0:14.6	where things are at now that the series has been released. So without further ado,
0:20.3	hi, Kelly, how are you? Hi, Christy. I am amazing. I am amazing. How are you? I'm good. And I just
0:30.2	wanted to start by thanking you and your group for all your tireless efforts advocating for sexual
0:35.8	assault survivors. You and I have been in contact for a few years now, and it's all kind of
0:41.3	culminated in this mini series being released just in the nick of time. And I wanted to hear
0:47.2	where you're at with the petition and what the response has been at your end. So what's going on?
0:52.5	So your listeners are incredible when your podcast was released to your premium listeners. I
1:02.1	believe it was Sunday. We were sitting at about 2,200 signatures and now it's just past 10 o'clock
1:09.4	in the morning where I am and we're currently sitting at 4,040 signatures. So thanks to your
1:15.7	listeners, we've gone up almost 2,000 signatures in about four days. And the team that I work with
1:23.9	at my voice, my choice org, we were blown away by this. Like we just keep watching the numbers go
1:29.9	up. We're like, how is there more of them? Oh my goodness. So it's incredible. It's absolutely
1:35.8	incredible to see this much support. I've been creeping on the comments on your social media as well.
1:44.2	And like the support that's coming in from your listeners in the comments, basically saying,
1:48.9	I had no idea this is a thing. This is terrible. Of course I'm signing. It's like, yeah, this is
1:53.9	this is how we feel too. This is what started it. We were like, everybody that's involved with
1:59.4	my voice, my choice, we were all publication band people. We're all linked together because of
2:06.2	a publication band and we're from all corners of Canada. And none of us should know each other.
2:12.5	There's no reason that any of our circles, any of our jobs, any of our anything's, whatever
2:17.5	cross. But we found each other on social media when we were posting about our own story saying,
