A few months ago, we released an episode about the voices of TikTok.

The first half was about a voiceover artist named Bev Standing.

In North America, Bev was the original text-to-speech voice in TikTok videos.

The thing is, Bev never agreed to let TikTok use her voice, and she actually sued to get

them to remove it.

The second half of the episode was about the voice that replaced Bev's.

That voice is sometimes called Jesse, and it has a very distinctive delivery.

My voice is a lot more bubbly and have been the old one.

But Jesse's true identity was a total mystery.

No one can figure out who I really am.

Well, since the episode came out, there have been some exciting developments.
