In this episode, I share a new tool that I have begun using that has taken my pliability and "limberness" to the next level. Welcome to the sports motivation podcast. This is your host, Nees Showbo. Today is another episode of Up on Game, and I am super excited to introduce to you this new thing that I came across. And again, don't laugh at me. I don't know if you've heard about it already or not. I know for a fact, they've been out now for a long time. Alright, so you guys know I'm an athlete or I should say a former athlete, I still like

to consider myself an athlete, I train, I work out, etc.

But I'd be lying if I said I was the same athlete that I once was.

So while I don't consider myself old, as I get older, I do notice my body responding in different ways to workouts, et cetera.

And one thing that I always notice, especially when I do

hills, and me and my son like to do hill sprints, is my calves get super tight. A few years back,

this was probably like five years ago, I pulled a muscle in my calf. It was actually very

painful. And since then, it's tweaked in many times. As a matter of fact, I played basketball not too long ago

and my calves. So anyway, I'm having these tightness in my calves and just feeling pains. My knee

was swelling up one day. I never had problems with my knee. So it's kind of frustrating, but of course,

it reminds me that I need to put more attention onto the maintenance of my body.

Like, I need to stretch more.

I need to do all these type of things.

So anyway, I have foam rollers, and I foam roll a lot, but it still wasn't really, I mean,

foam rolling helps, but the problems are still happening.
