And the actual damages have been decided and he has to pay 4.1 million dollars. Now the jury has yet to decide punitive damages. They're going to figure that out tomorrow. That's more subjective. Actual damages is like Dr. Bills and things with monetary value that you know have an absolute value.

And the punitive damages is tomorrow. And that's more subjective. The plaintiffs are asking for 150 million. And there are now reports of the Department of Justice and the January 6th committee have asked the Sandy Hook lawyers for Alex Jones's phone.

And that's the, you know, all the information on his phone text messages and communications that were, I guess, accidentally put in the discovery portal.

And have now been handed over completely free and clear to the lawyers for the Sandy Hook plaintiffs. And the Department of Justice and the January 6th committee have asked the lawyers for the contents of Alex Jones's phone. And the lawyer says we're going to hand it over.

And we're going to see if an actual friendly subpoena goes out or however that works legally. I would put a subpoena out there, but you know, I guess you probably don't need one, but maybe just for due diligence. We'll see what happens. My beans are on a subpoena, but it would be a friendly one.

All right, the former guy and his legal team, well, his legal team at least are in direct communication with the justice department and top officials at the Department of Justice.

And that's according to sources familiar with the matter talking to Caitlin Pollitz of CNN.

The talks revolve around whether Trump would be able to shield conversations he had while he was president from federal investigators.

Now, in recent weeks, investigators have moved aggressively into Trump's orbit, subpoenaing former top White House officials focusing on efforts to overturn the election and executing searches of lawyers who sought to aid those efforts.
