Hi guys welcome back to skin care anarchy this is part two in the masterclass with Dr Allen B I am so excited because today we have such an amazing gas that is part of the team at Dr. Allenby's practice and her body squad, you know, side of things.

So I'm super excited to introduce you guys to nurse practitioner that works with Dr. Allenby,

I am so excited to talk to everyone today.

Yes, I'm so excited to, you know, kind of pick your brain a little bit because I know that you guys

doing a lot of really cool stuff practice and at Body Squad and I would love to learn all

about it but I really want to get started with you telling us a little bit about what led to you joining Dr. Allenby, if you could kind of give us a background on yourself.

Of course, yes, my name's Amanda Rose. I've recently got married so that changed, but medical wise I'm still Amanda Rose.

I have been a nurse practitioner for about five years now and I originally started in the pediatric world so I worked with

kids I was a pediatric nurse for 10 years before I did nurse practitioner and then I started my nurse practitioner career working with the kids still too.

But then I you know it was starting to take a toll on me. As you could imagine, kids are a little bit tough and it's not always a happy medicine and I do hope to have a family one day and that was something that I was bringing home with me and taking it to heart.

So I was realizing that maybe as I started to get a little bit older and looking into the family thing that this may not be the happiest place for me to be.

Now, I still love kids, don't get me wrong wrong and I still want some you know but I my other passion was

Skin care. I mean I've constantly battled with skin issues growing up. But since I was 17 years old I have had

Melasma and anybody with Melasma knows it never goes away. So it's been a

constant battle since then and I've had cystic

acne and stuff with my hormones and just different stuff that I was like you know

it was something that I was really interested in a field in general and a happy medicine.

Like, it just makes me so happy to come to work to make people feel good and refreshed about themselves.

Right, right. I love that and I think that's something that we don't talk a lot about is that the fact that it
