Anybody's shaken up because somebody let you down. Can I see your lights please?

There you go. There you go. So do you think anybody that maybe we've hit on the right topic this weekend when God has called us together in Waco, Texas,

at this particular event, at this particular time,

to study about the contrast between what is shakeable

and what is unshakable.

Music and what is unshaken. Many of you in this room, you're the cream of the crop. And like, did you see all of our lights tonight?

Some of you held up seven times.

Because let's face it, there's a lot of shaking going on down here, a lot of shaking.

And we can't always control everything that shakes us up. We want to.

We're going to see what we can affect. But I'm going to tell you something. We humans are woefully

shakeable. Now, a person of faith or not, we find out the hard way often and sometimes the short way, other times the long way

that we humans are woefully shakeable.

Now, here's what I want to say to you as we gather in this place.

God knows exactly why you're shaken, exactly why you're shaken.

Exactly.

Down to the detail, why it hit you that way.

There's this proverb that I think about from time to time that says, each heart knows its own bitterness. And I think about that a lot because I think,

you know, all tragedies do not hit individual hearts exactly the same way.

We may have been diagnosed with exactly the same kind of cancer,

with exactly the same kind of treatment.

You may have been with exactly the same doctor

...
