about Netflix's new documentary Titan the Ocean Gate disaster. And before we dive into the controversy

and the bigger implications of this documentary, I think we should

probably set the stage on the who, what, where, you know, just all the facts, basically.

Because it wasn't just a bizarre news story. It was an international news story that really became sort of a crisis that brought a lot of

people together over social media and the news cycle. So it really did play out like a horrifying

car wreck that nobody could take their eyes off of. That's a really, how do I want to word this? Because I don't want to sound

flippant. Let me think for a second. I know. That's why I had to rephrase what I said,

because I was like, what did I say? You did good. You did good. I also think it would be remiss if we

didn't acknowledge that we've now just passed by a few days when we're recording this, the two-year anniversary

when all of this started happening, which was June 18, 2023.
