novelist, and author of this amazing new book, The Primate Myth, Jonathan Leith. Welcome,

It's such pleasure to be here. You know, I think about American history.

You've had a number of brilliant writers who are also beautiful, N.S. A. Mousin Malay, Mary McCarthy,

but you're kind of top of the heap. Why, thank you. And you were already one of my favorite

writers. So I didn't even need to be con calm, but now you're top of the heap.

This book, well, actually, I should say, I looked you up on Wikipedia, and I do want to

tell people a little bit more about you because, oh my gosh, what an impressive biography,

wrote lots of off-Broadway plays that have gotten accolades and awards.

I have it yet. I should have you on just to talk about that. I'm reading your novel, which is a

mystery set in Hollywood, City of Angels. It's

absolutely fantastic. And this book, I went to your book signing for it. You gave a short little talk on it.

And immediately started reading the advanced copy you gave me.

It's just, it's taken me by storm.
