0:12.4	a lie. Even worse, to teach a lie. But my friend, it is monstrous to teach a lie about
0:24.4	God. There is no greater crime than to be a false prophet or to be a false teacher. Now God
0:35.3	does not take it lightly. God hates lies, thought about himself. And so the message today is not
0:44.0	going to be a happy message. But it's going to be a needful message. Because I say the world
0:50.1	today is full of dangerous doctrines. And that's why I've decided to study with you second Peter

1:19.3	This series is to help people to think biblically as well as logically about the issues that are
1:26.0	facing us. You know the Bible says my people perish for a lack of truth. And the great crisis in
1:34.1	America today very frankly is a crisis over truth because Americans no longer believe in fixed truth.
1:41.8	And we have one of the most non-intelligent sayings going around today is what is true for you.
1:49.6	May not be true for me. Well I want to say frankly if it's true it's true. If it's true for one
1:55.9	it's true for all. And I'll say something else concerning fixed truth. If it's new it's not true
2:02.1	because all truth is ultimately related in God. Carrie today's message with Adrian Rodgers is
2:08.1	part one unmasking false prophets. Second Peter 2, 1 through 9 is our text. And I'm really excited
2:14.8	about this message with Adrian Rodgers because you know we see on social media and in the media in
2:20.8	general all kinds of messages coming our way. You know what is truth and how do you determine what
2:26.8	is a false prophet. So this series is going to be so needed and I'm really excited about this
2:31.2	message. The desperate need in these last days is to really authenticate biblical teaching.
