I'm Dave Bitner and this is our weekly conversation with researchers and analysts tracking

down the threats and vulnerabilities,

solving some of the hard problems and protecting ourselves in a rapidly evolving cyberspace.

Thanks for joining us. The first case that I got when I moved over to Pramiso was with this thread actor.

And it was a very interesting thread actor in the sense that it didn't look anything like

what we typically see, not a lot of automation, a lot of gooey tools, and a lot of mistakes along the way that were kind of

funny that stood out.

That's Ian All, Senior Vice President of Permeso's P0 Labs. The research we're discussing today is

titled Unmasking GuiVille, financially motivated Cloud Threat Actor. But effectively still able to be super effective at doing their main mission,

which was crypto mining in this environment.
