They have an open cold case of a John Doe that they have been working tirelessly to solve.

According to the Farmers Allmanac, late October 2003 was cold in Flathead County, Montana.

It's a good time for hunting though and two hunters were taking advantage of the good conditions.

They were walking at the top of a cliff near a wooded area when they spot something.

It's a tattered nylon bat.

They look at each other and decide to realize that no one seemed to be around as far as they could see.

And it didn't seem like the kind of bad that another hunter would just leave out here so they decide to take a peek.
