Hey moms, welcome to my devotional grace for a mom's heart. You know, sometimes we find ourselves at a loss in our

understanding of our circumstances, our family, our children, or our friends,

and we begin to panic and do things out of fear. Today I want to talk about wholehearted trust.

In the weeks ahead, I'll be reading from my devotional, Unhurried Grace, for a mom's heart,

31 days in God's Word. You can find a printed version of this available on Amazon.

Each devotional is less than 10 minutes long. I start by reading a short scripture passage,

and then I share some thoughts from my own

heart as written from my devotional. I'll ask some questions at the end to help you dig deeper

and then I'll conclude in prayer. So let's talk about wholehearted trust. Our passage comes from proverbs three one through six my child

never forget the things i have taught you store my commands in your heart if you do this you will live

many years and your life will be satisfying never let loyalty and kindness leave you. Tie them around your neck as a

reminder. Write them deep within your heart. Then you will find favor with both God and people,

and you will earn a good reputation. Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Do not on your own understanding seek his will in all you do

and he will show you which path to take when i turned 10 years old my grandma gave me a new bible

she had written out proverbs three five and six inside the cover in her beautiful cursive handwriting,

and every time I opened the Bible, I saw the verses she had written. I read them so often

that I eventually memorized them. Her little note inside my Bible seems like a small gesture,

but looking back, I can see the profound impact it had

on my life. Why did it have such an impact? I'm not exactly sure, but I wonder if it was because my

grandma took the time to give me a taste of the good things that are in God's word. I love that as moms, we have so many opportunities

to give our kids that same taste of goodness. Read Proverbs 3 verses 1 and 2 again.
