We're the host of the Morning Focus Daily Devotional podcast, and we're excited to share

the story of Megan Woods with you.

Recently, we got to sit down and talk with Megan about her story and how God has helped her

change out lives for truth.

One of the things I like most about this is just how much it aligns with our vision of

speaking truth to the lies.

You know, the lies we tell ourselves, other people speak in our

lives, or even the enemy with the truth found in God's word and how God's truth was more powerful

than the lies that were spoken into Megan's life. A key part of her story is not just flipping over

and believing the truth because she should, but actually working out the process of believing the truth.

I grew up in an amazing Christian home, amazing mom and dad, older brother.

I could not have asked for a better family.

But, you know, I feel like growing up it was really hard for me. I was bullied in school.

That took a real toll on me. And then also, somebody close to me was a little bit verbally abusive to me.

It just seemed like no matter which way I looked, I just didn't feel like I added up. I felt very small and kind of to myself in a shell. That's how I would

describe it. I would be a little bit like afraid and timid of people. I just did not feel confident

in who God created me to be. Like it just felt like I'm not good enough for the situation or for
