Hi everyone and welcome to the latest edition of the European show. I am your

host Stuart and as Liverpool changed their European destination from

Portugal to Spain we are going to turn our attention to Spain as well and I'm delighted to be joined by La Liga TV presenter Semra Hunter.

Semra, thanks for joining us. Welcome to the show. As always Spain is a very exciting place

right now in terms of football. It's an exciting place to be in terms of football

and just in life in general right? Spain is a wonderful place to be especially now that the summer is

coming up and the sun is finally out and shining again so yeah brilliant

brilliant how are you? Thanks for having me back. Oh I I'm great. I mean, everything is Rosie in Liverpool's world right now, and the

traveling fans will be very pleased to hear about the weather in Spain.

So obviously in the Champions Day, Liverpool will be first up against Vélle so we should probably get the low down on them but there is another Spanish team still knocking around so we'll probably do a bit of due diligence on them before the end of this show.

But first of all, Villerielle, Liverpool on a potentially historic run of this season

going for everything in front of them like greedy school children.

They're going to be favorites for this tie, of course they are. But so were by in Munich in the last

round. So were Juventus and the round before. So was Manchester United in the last year's Euro League final. So was Arsenal in the semis.

I mean let's face it, Véllea have been superb in Europe for two seasons running now.

Isn't it about time us in England gave them a bit more

respect? Oh without a doubt and I think not just the club deserves a lot more

respect I think when I am Marie as a manager it deserves a lot more respect, especially from maybe England fans, maybe from Arsenal

fans. I know he didn't have a great time of it there and he was often the one who had to take most of the blame for what was going on but I think now as the years have passed people are slowly starting to realize that when I am Ray wasn't exactly the problem.

Although I do think it's true that he thrives in a different kind of setting and I think that Via Rael has been the perfect place for him and it's very similar to what he experienced when he was at Seville.

It's a club that's really much more family-oriented,
