I'm your host, retired NYPD Sergeant Bill Cannon, 27-year veteran of the NYPD.

Folks, there's a case or numerous cases up in Portland, Oregon, which I think the police have been holding off for a bit.

And everyone's watching it because what it is is

six female bodies recovered in a 100 mile radius that everyone is already jumping and saying

this is the work of a serial killer. Now, as you can see, this first started out, they started out as missing persons.

And on February 9th was the first one, Kristen Smith, and culminating on May 7th,

with a woman named Ashley Real.

And in between, there was four more women. One, Joanna speaks on April 8th.

Currently is the only one of these cases that they've already ruled a homicide. So the rest of these cases, they are trying, they're investigating, but realize this, when

bodies are found out outside in the wilderness, we all know that they decompose and we all know

that they're open to all of the elements, which includes animals and rain and snow and all this type of thing,

and that speeds up or in some cases with cold slows down the decomposition of the bodies.

However, these cases in a 100-mile radius are also in five different police jurisdictions. So does that add

complication to this? Yeah, you bet. You bet. The other thing is, of course, whichever police agency,

if there is one that's going to be in charge, they got to be very mindful of what they release and what they don't release to the press.

And I'm sure that's their big concern because they don't want to cause panic with this case.
