Everybody's got some little different notion about what salvation is.

And yet there is in Romans chapter 6, 7, and 8 an absolutely detailed explanation of the

nature of salvation, which should answer every question, I mean it pre-answered every question,

that anyone could possibly raise in conjunction with

salvation.

And it begins in Romans 6.1 with this little statement of Paul, what shall we say then?

And in English, the Greek translation into English, the literal translation,

and we've said this several times, but you can't repeat it often enough. Three little Greek

words, T. Un Ehroman, which mean in English, I want to lay out a proposition for you. Let me lay out the following proposition.

That's what Paul is saying. It's translated to King James as what shall we say then. But what

it literally means in Greek is, I'm going to lay out a proposition. And having said that, Paul says, shall we continue

And he begins his magnum opus, his treatise, on what it is to be saved in a body of death, which is one of the greatest
