Hey, everybody. Welcome to this week's episode of Red Pillar Healthcast. My name is Dr. Charlie Faganholds here with Lauren Johnson. And we usually have been doing a lot of Q&As off of your submitted questions, which we appreciate. And please keep submitting those because it gives us more content that you want to hear about. But we had an idea to do more of a topic podcast this week.

Obviously, we've done hormone stuff in the past, but there's a lot of questions about

the basics that we have to know when it comes to hormones and far too often in this world

we try to look for zebras when we should be looking for horses and the main players so let's

talk about what hormones are and we'll kind of take it from there.

Yeah, I think a lot of us think, well, that's just estrogen and progesterone and testosterone.

And they don't really think about the beginnings of those things.

Yes, estrogen matters and progesterone matters and testosterone matters,

but there's more to hormone balance. If we're really going to achieve it, we really have to go after the foundations. I know we've discussed this in the past, but we really want to lay the groundwork so that you can actually see how this relates to estrogen balance or estrogen dominant symptoms or progesterone deficiency issues or a man with low testosterone.
