This is. The future is pretty freaking frightening when you consider the growing popularity of the far right in the United States.

According to the Pew Research Center, political

polarization has doubled, that's right, doubled in the last 30 years. If you are a millennial or older, you may remember political polarization being pretty

damn high back in the early 90s when Republicans were having fits about President Bill Clinton and

Democrats seeing Republicans as attempting to radically, radically change

the United States of America. Of course Clinton would go along with

Republicans on all sorts of neoliberal legislation that even his fellow

Democrats were opposing like his support for NAFTA which devastated jobs in

the U.S. and the environmental, in the environment throughout the region.

The Telecommunications Act of 1996, which handed radio over to corporations pushing a far right

libertarian agenda, and we'll talk about that in a little bit

and Glass-Steagall which deregulated banks and played a role in causing what we now

know as the Great Recession. In fact, even compared to the era of political antagonism,
