Okay, before we actually get into the actual start of this episode, which is very much what I'm thinking I want to talk about, is the fact that you never know when something's going to become an idea that then becomes realized. In season two, when Carrie moved into Gramercy Park, that building, I was standing on the street and I looked at the actual building

and I thought, she has the top two, Florence. Who lives under her? And I remember when we started

shooting in that gorgeous, gorgeous apartment of hers, the new Gramercy. It was the end of season two.

And I remember you saying, Michael, a neighbor. No, and I was even more specific. It flew into my mind. I even thought

it's a Brit. He's a male and he's a successful writer of famous biographies. And underneath

Carrie Bradshaw, and then what I love more than anything is the reality. You know,
