and today I am joined by. I'm Lindsay Buse and Edinburgh. Nick Hurdley in London. And Rastip Sandhu

also in London working from home. And I feel that somehow with everything else it's been

going on in politics last

of the week, it feels like it's been a couple of weeks since we've talked about why it is

we're all working for home, the minor matter of that global pandemic on the podcast.

I don't know, is it just a thing where we're so used to it now that, you know, we never

leave the house, we never go anywhere, never do anything?

Has it just

become the new normal?

Nick, do you think that's reflected in politics?

Yeah, I think the politics has gone a bit quiet because there was always the pressure and

always the questions of how to balance the health and economic pressures.

But I think given what happened at the end of December

and early January with the massive spike in cases and new variants and stuff, the kind of the pressure

politically went away and it was just a right, let's go on with us, everybody's stay at home.

But now, as you're seeing, you know, the vaccine roll out going well, and you're seeing the numbers
