Today we're going to be doing a pre-national signing day episode discussing some Florida

State recruiting, probably one more episode actually before National

Signing Day to discuss some of the events after this final recruiting weekend, final official

visit weekend in Tallahassee. Lots of things to discuss in that regard. Several things to discuss

that have happened since our last podcast, which, as you'll recall, was the bonus Clemson, Alabama breakdown where I'd suggested that Clemson would beat Alabama unless Alabama went at least plus two in turnover margin, which would give the Crimson T tide a chance in that game, where, as it

turned out, Alabama did go plus two in turnover margin in that game and therefore did have a chance

to beat Clemson, but Clemson managed to prevail anyway.

Also going to talk about some, we're going to, there's going to be one question to answer from a listener that came in actually back in the, at the end of December, that I just haven't had the time or the ability to answer.

It's a little bit more detailed questions.

I want to get to that at the tail end of the show.

But before we, before we go any further, there has been some movement in the Florida State recruiting class since I last put on an episode, namely the decommitment of DeMarco Artis, three-star linebacker out of the Orlando area, a guy that really, I think, is underrated, a better player than his three-star rating would

suggest. I think he really should be probably a four-star kid. His senior tape is excellent.

Very good closing speed. Very physical player. Unfortunately, he just, he played, he overplayed his hand really and and i think

this is a kid that sort of the rumblings out there were that uh that he had kind of let some other

teams get in his ear that maybe florida state was thinking of him as depth rather than as a top
