Well, Patrick, we see JJ McCarthy for eight quarters, seven of them bad, one of them good,

and now we won't see them for probably three games. That's not a

great start for the Vikings. I don't think they're terribly sad about this either. I mean,

they haven't jumped into the idea of rehabbing him and perhaps, you know, getting him out there

fairly soon.

I think after the abomination Sunday night, they realized that he needs a little more time.
