0:41.7	Just as a heads up, most of this episode will be about the big beautiful bill.
0:46.1	We'll touch on a few other stories, but for the most part, it'll pretty much be a big,

0:52.4	And because there is so much to talk about in regard to the new law,
0:55.5	I don't really want to, you know, rush through it. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to
0:59.5	break it up between two episodes. So in today's episode, I'll focus on answering the questions
1:04.4	that you all submitted related to Medicare, Medicaid, and student loans. And then on Thursday,
1:10.6	I'll finish the rest of the questions,
1:12.6	which deal with topics like taxes, the debt ceiling increase, and then a few miscellaneous things.
1:18.0	For now, let's get into today's episode, starting with the devastating news out of Texas.
1:24.6	As of today, the death toll from the Texas flooding has reached 90, and officials are still
1:30.1	searching for some of the girls missing from Camp Mystic. More than 850 people have been rescued
1:36.2	since that flooding began. So what happened here was a massive and incredibly destructive flash flood.
1:47.9	Flash floods happen when a ton of rain pours down in a very short amount of time and it happens so quickly that the ground does not have
1:53.8	the time to absorb it. Central Texas is actually called Flash Flood Alley because it is so susceptible to flooding.
2:03.1	But this flood was like nothing the area has ever seen.
2:06.3	Basically, weather forecasters knew rain was coming.
