than conflicts like Gaza or Ukraine. But now there are warnings that the plight of millions

of Sudanese refugees displaced by two years of civil war,

is about to get even worse.

As well as the millions displaced inside Sudan, more than 4 million people have fled to neighbouring countries,

often arriving traumatised, malnourished and with little more than the clothes on their back.

The UN's World Food Programme says drastic funding cuts could force its operations to grind to a halt in the coming months as resources run dangerously low.
