You know, Roosevelt had been a relatively senior figure in the Wilson administration and he supported the League of Nations.

And he came to the conclusion at the time of the First World War and as a man who spoke French and German fluently and used to go to Germany every year with his father who went to the spasler because of a medical condition that he had.
