Defense of Democracy, who watches the Ukraine-Russia conflict closely

and helps us understand the battlefield, the negotiating table, and the unknowns.

We begin now with a report that is not confirmed, highly unreliable,

because it comes from a mill blogger via Singapore.

But here it is.

Ukrainian forces attacked Russia's Western Kersk region on Monday, May 5,

firing missiles, smashing through the border, crossing minefields with special vehicles,

according to Russian war bloggers.

Russia's top general said last month that Ukrainian troops had been ejected from the

Kerskwegian, ending the biggest incursion in the Russian territory since World War II,

and that Russia was carving out a buffer zone in the neighboring Ukrainian region of Sumi.

Mr. Hardy, help us understand.
