Ukraine's capital has once again been targeted by Russian drone strikes,

people waking to the sound of air raid sirens and explosions in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Then by dawn, the now familiar rhythm of a clear-up once again resumes. No one was killed in this latest attack,

but Kiev's residents, like most Ukrainians, become used to living with the now constant threat

of war. And as we prepare for Christmas, it's likely war in Europe wasn't on many people's

minds this time last year.

But here we are.

Ten months into Europe's first conflict since World War II.

Just what have we learned about modern day warfare?

where I'm joined by Sky's Defence and Security analyst Michael Clark.

Let's start by talking about the latest attack on Keeve in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

This is a continuation of what the Russians have made it clear they will do.

This war is a war against the whole Ukrainian population,

and they are aiming to put the population under such pressure that the government surrenders.

Now, I don't think they'll work. That won't work. They won't succeed. But that is now clearly

articulated as a strategy. This latest attack was the ninth major attack where they use

up to 100 missiles and drones and then every day there's some attacks, but then about once a

week, there's a mass attack of the sort that we've seen recently. Certainly the use of drones

really has changed the backdrop of this war, if you like. They're being used

on both sides, we should say. The Ukrainians have been using drones for some time, given to them

by America. And now, of course, we're seeing this use of Iranian drones by Russia. It's really
