Finland and Sweden.

I learned Jeff from my colleague, Captain Jerry Hendrix,

US Navy retired, who just came back from Kiel,

a seapower symposium, that the addition of Finland and Sweden

makes the map profoundly different that it was without those two countries and without

the Baltic being part of the frontline without those two countries

part of the front line of defense.

Why? Because I'm told the lessons of the Black Sea, which is missiles and drones,

can control waterways. Those lessons can now... missiles and

missiles can now be applied to the Baltic.

It very much favors NATO and to the Arctic Ocean.

At this moment favors Russia.

They have the icebreakersers, they have training

base in the Arctic now, they've had combat soldiers there for some time. So it's a

new NATO map. What do you think are the strengths of the new NATO map Jeff?

Well, the new map. The strength is in the Baltic for sure, John.

If you looked at the Soviet Union and the Cold War and you looked at the Baltic Sea,

the memory of course that the Sonia, Latvia, Lithuania were more part of the Soviet Union.

Poland was in the Warsaw Pact, Belarus was part of the Soviet Union.

You would look at that map and also realize Sweden and Finland were neutral and you would say the Baltic Sea is basically a Soviet Warsaw Pact controlled lake.
